I had to take a look at it recently when doing some research and it's not as scary as it's made out to be. You might come across the occasional poster who wouldn't be let in to Mensa but they're everywhere (except DS of course)

Have you tried ebay? Second-hand cages do make a good price, particularly if you can sort out a courier for them.
