There are loads of these moronic 'security threat' news stories around at the moment. There was one the other week about how if someone plugged a computer into the diagnostics port on your car they could over-ride the controls. As long as you had the car running. You'd probably notice them sitting there and the cable going over your shoulder unless you were exceptionally unobservant.

Stick the computer with a router under the bonnet and a really good wifi connection and they probably wouldn't need the cable over your shoulder!

Great for an April fools prank. Hard to understand how using your phone to open the lid or activate the bidet would be easier than doing it yourself. You need one hand to hold the phone and one to press buttons, how would you wipe your bum if both hands are in use?
