I would like a pattern to knit a stuffed wooly sheep. I didn't spot anything on Ravelry that I really fancied. I wanted to end up with a cat sized knitted sheep . Anybody got any suggestions of where I might look or even have a suitable pattern. Yes another madcat odd request!

I had a very basic one from this kit that might scale up, but I won't find it for a few days now (moving house). Any good? The body is a knitted rectangle sewn into a tube, the head is basically another rectangle with extra stitches cast on then off again to make ears; then folded in half and sewn.

Those work as small and cute but scaled up to the size of a large cat I wonder if they would look a bit scary. I think I'm aiming for a slightly more sheep shaped result rather than idea of a sheep type thing, if you understand my waffle.
Thanks for the idea link though, it all helps the decision making.

Hope the move is going to be smooth, you heading North South or Middle. Or forn parts as Granny Weatherwax would say.

Thanks Sally, that looks fun. I have been collecting sheep photos so I get an idea of the body shape of sheep. Worrying really but more worrying if it was the OH collecting them

My first thought on reading the header was why you would want to knit something FOR a sheep they already have a nice fleecy jumper. Ouuups my fuzzy brain coming into play LOL Mo.XX

Hello Blacksheep, I ended up looking at the Sue the Ewe pattern from Ravelry. I borrowed it from a friend. I think I will end up making a slightly modified version but Iam still spinning the yarn and so it will be a while before I get to knit.
