Is it possible?

If so, how?

Someone must know, surely

Well it must be possible, but whether it is with dye you can use at home I don't know. I don't think the normal natural dyes and mordants or the dylon type will do it. I did once dye some wool/nylon and the nylon remained white. Interesting effect though.

I've not used it myself, but there is a brand of dye sold for polyester. https://www.thedyeshop.co.uk/acatalog/Polyester_Dyes.html

I was rather hoping it wouldn't involve boiling on the stove but it looks like that's the way to do it
