What is it called when a seam goes horizontally across the middle of your bust? Like an empire waist, but looser and higher. I've a top that's very flattering with one and I want some more. A bit like this:

Yoke - that's a yoked cardi, can be found in sewing and knitting. Great design feature in knitting, a stripey yoke is a nice feature.

Thank you. Would it still be called that in a non knitted top? I'm getting lots if results with jumpers with different colours or stitch patterns in the yoke, but not many with the actual seam construction.

try searching for yoked blouse, that might seperate out the knitwear?
