I have no idea what I'm going to use it for yet but the handle is the one part I'm not sure of

Looks good. Getting the handles sewn on securely is the main thing. When I made hand woven bags I incorporated the handle into the side of the bag as a gusset; that way it was held for the whole depth of the bag. Otherwise, sew down each side of the handle and across top and bottom, then diagonally both ways. If you mean the width, it is good for a shoulder bag, or one to sling on your arm, but perhaps a bit wide to hold in the hand. Ideal for a craft bag though.

That's lovely. I made one with that kind of shape for my Mum's knitting. Until then she had been using an ancient plastic bag. I suspect she now puts that into the bag I made her.

My Mum would do that too, bags within bags! why?
