I really want to go into one of the growing sheds and actually hear the rhubarb growing myself. - has anyone been?

A simple thing on my list of things I would love to do

My dad, for reasons best known to himself, grows rhubarb right outside his bedroom window(he sleeps on the ground floor). When it rains he can't sleep for all the noise the rain makes clattering onto the leaves.

Rhubarb was apparently originally classed as a fruit by U.S Customs who classified it based on how it was used i.e in crumbles and tarts etc.
