Anyone in striking distance of Newtown, Powys may be interested in this email reminder I've just had. Should be a good day.
"Don’t forget to book your place to attend the Bee Improvement for All day on Sunday 12 October at Plas Dolerw. Tickets are £18 (this includes lunch) and booking in advance is essential. Roger Patterson from BIBBA will be taking us through simple techniques to help assess and build on the qualities that you want to see in your bees as well as tuition on how to raise new Queens. This is a great opportunity to have a session in Mid-Wales to help amateur bee-keepers improve their skills. The sessions run last year around the country were very well received by all that attended them.
Hope to see many of you there. More details and a booking form on the Monty Bees website, or you can ring me on 01686 625430." |

It sounds like it'll be a really good day and only £18 including lunch.
The problem will be getting everything done here and into Newtown for 9am. No Sunday lay-in that week. |
