I have acquired a length of holly about 8' long with a basal diameter about 65 mm.

It is so fresh the leaves are still pristine.

I have a lathe with max centres around 3'

It is so straight and true that it is quite shocking !

I am intending to make a shave horse but haven't done so yet.

What can I use this for ?

Beautiful wood but I doubt you will get much from it if it is that green without it splitting. It'll smell gorgeous as you turn it though.
