Does anyone on here recommend the bobbin washer to stop tangles in your sewing? I do* free motion embrodery and quilting.

I will probably try cutting one out of thin teflon before buying them (£10!).

*This is a proper hobby. It requires the support of lots of gadgets before you ever get around to doing it. You know, it was only a few years ago that I thought a pin was a pin was pin. Sad, such lost innocence.

In my line of work, farm machinery, a pin is generally a bolt with washer and nut!

I thought you meant washing them in some sort of device with liquid...gah, I need to get out more...

I'm going to cut one out from some thin teflon and see if it alters anything. It doesn't tangle every time. It's not quite to do with tension.

It does along with something about static. Useful and well I feel like splashing out (I'll probably share a pack with Rosie).
