I've just discovered a healthy looking pot of leeks I forgot to plant. I know in theory it's too late to put them in, but what do people reckon - worth a punt?

probably ok but they might crop a bit later than ones planted out a while back.

Leeks will continue to grow (less and less until December) this side of the new year - if its mild they could put on quite a bit of weight.

They will go to seed in their 2nd season so won't grow a lot in the spring other than to pop up a stiff flower stalk.
