We have a few pears on the tree that haven't been attacked by the wasps and I fancy making some spiced pears to go with the Christmas (am I allowed to say the 'C' word yet...?) cheese board.
They are the type that are as hard as bullets.

Does anyone have a good, spicey (hot) recipe please for whole preserved pears.
We once had a jar of mustard fruits that we were given and I'd love something along those lines.
thank you in advance

I think you're always encouraged to talk about cheese

Not tried it yet but this looks like the sort of thing to me. The instructions specifically say to leave the fruit whole if they're small enough.
