Fresh nuts for sale. These will be a mix of hazels and cobs, all at the fresh green stage.

£10 for a kilo, all proceeds to medecins sans frontiers.

How well have your nuts done this year Mr T? Many problems with Squirrels or Jays?

I think its a numbers game, we have 224 trees too many for squirrels or jays to strip

Our biggest crop of hazels and walnuts so far

Are you selling walnuts at all and/or heart nuts?

Nope, heartnuts are dreadful to harvest. The cases are harder to get off than walnuts and stain everything black. You really need to wash and dry before sale. I reckon £20 p/kg would be too cheap

Walnuts are in high demand amongst friends and family. Dunno why none of them like cobnuts though.
