Chips into boiling Water for 7 Mins
Let dry and cool to no longer steaming on kitchen towel.
Fry at 135 for 7 mins.
degrease on kitchen towel.
Into ice cream maker to blast freeze and extract moisture for 25 mins. I emptied and dried the container once, which was probably not needed.
Fry at 190 for about 5 mins.

Really good chips!

I assumed this was about fitting a custom chip in your icecream-maker to make it go faster or something.

What if you don't have a ice cream maker, or a chip pan, or much of a usable kitchen?

It kind of seemed obvious really, did a google later and can't see it as a recommended use for an Ice cream maker.
So pleased it may be pretty original

Go to a chip shop or put up with crap chips.

We used to, but now moved away. I look forward to Jema's "ice cream in a deep fat fryer" recipe though.

Shouldn't that read "Go to a chip shop and buy crap chips"? Or are there chip shops that sell really good chips?

We still have a couple of really decent chippies where we live and I feel lucky for doing so.
