what it said on the tin, i miss chooks

here is very unsuitable

the dirty 4 dozen trained up a treat but they were rough on wildlife, and it was a high risk short term mission for them
the posh ones were not up to the job and most were eaten by "vermin" very quickly

grannie's chooks were my introduction to avian dinosaurs

the semi tame "wildlife" as mentioned in birdtown is ok but not like minding chooks

as it went dark i wanted to be in a henshed to enjoy them coming home.

I'm going to miss my two - they don't know it but they are going to be rehired with the neighbour when we leave. Dotty jumps up onto the fence to share toast with me in the morning and Goldie does a hummingbird impression to eat toast from my hand. Lovely girls.

as well as no space for any, the local foxes are considered "pets" by some and an AR with nightsight may be considered rude

it would be nice to have a domestic flock for good eggs and a few meaty dinners

glad your two have a new henhouse and slave to go to

The neighbour will disrupt their lifestyle the least
