Moment of truth time

This is for final meter readings only - BUT - could you also add what type of power you use for cooking, water heating and central heating.

For example:- Cooking - electric, water heating - gas, central heating - gas.

Should help us all to understand the figures a little better.

Thanks

Central heating & DHW - woodburner

All figures for family of four, 2 adults, 2 children.

Main changes in second week.

Changed last non eco bulb, house now 100%
No tumble dryer!
Dishwasher and washing machines always used on their eco setting
Vigilance in turning off lights, and not using standby.
More hob/fast cooking

Cooking - electric, Water - Electric, Central Heating - Oil (when we have any )

Did all the cooking in one batch on the first Sunday, kept baths to a minimum (everyone shared water ) used minimal lights, TV etc. But it was mimimising the use of hot water and cooking that had the biggest impact.

No change in mine - but pleased nevertheless as very expensive son came home this week - so we must have made savings elsewhere.

My final reading was 82628-93

Meaning that in the past week we used 54-46 'units'.

Compared to the previous week, we saved 34-40 units.

Cooking: Gas hob, electric oven and grill.

Central heating and hot water: Mains gas.
