After yesterdays thread on ferrets and after I had finished the chores and the paper I decided to try out the large holes in the fields near my house.

It was absolutely gobsmaking,a single hole in a flat open field and I could hear that I had been noticed by the occupant(s) when I was putting the net down.

Long story short, I managed 4 out of the 5 that bolted.......If I had a(short) longnet I`d have got the lot

Good on yer !

You're making me feel guilty now ! How much would a new long net cost you ?

100yd @ £60+

I have a one I knitted myself for doing hedges but it`s only 8-10 yds.

One of my farms i`d need a minimum of 3 x 100 yarders.

Quite an outlay KG !
I tend to use 50yard ones .
I don't suppose for a minute you are anywhere near N Wales or Stoke on Trent?

It might be worth making your own up . You may not have to do the knitting, just buy the netting in and put the nets together !

Try putting netting companies into google and see what you get.
