Talking about mushrooms on another thread reminded me I wanted to ask if anyone knew anywhere that wanted to rid itself of fairly
large amounts of spent mushroom compost within reasonable distance of Carmarthen?.


Too far away and transport costs would be prohibitive.

You could do what I did, search Yellow Pages (yell.com) for Mushroom Growers.

I am sooo dumb!!! Have done that and it says there is one about, so will have to give them ring.

i have used it under mature hedges and it worked well
a bit of lime as well may help
