We still have carrots and beetroot in a mini polytunnel. Some sorry looking brussels sprout plants Purple sprouting brocoli Celeriac, spinach Some red potatos Next years garlic and shallots oh, and a whole lotta leeks ... that's about it Just wondering what you lot have resisted the temptation to rip out? S

Not counting the perennials (like fruit bushes, sorrel, asparagus, etc.), of course, we've still got:

Winter lettuces
Bright lights chard
Leaf beet
Yellow, stripy and red beetroot
Celery
Parsley
Rocket
Winter and Spring cabbages
Calabrese (struggling on)
Spring red and white sprouting broccoli
Carrots (still got some baby ones, and the main crop of course)
Salsify
A few pathetic looking parsnips
Jerusalem artichokes
Leeks (winter, Spring, and should be some till early summer)

Gone in recently are banana shallot seeds (home saved from shop bought bulb), alexanders, skirret, broad beans, garlic and saffron.

Haven't been up there for over a week so what I last saw there was: PSB Broccoli Calabrese Curly Kale Cavelo Nero Three types of winter cabbage Rocket Chard Mixed oriental greens - mizuna, pak choi, celtuce, couple of types of chinese cabbage Shallots and garlic Various lettuces Parsley Salisfy Scorzonera Jerusalem artichokes 2 carrots parsnips

Carrots, parsnips, beetroot Swiss and ruby chard, spinach beet Curly kale, cavolo nero Purple sprouting broccoli Cabbage (Greyhound [early] just coming ready now). And for next year : winter onions (red and white), garlic Green manure : fenugreek, struggling post-germination with frosts.

Asparagus peas- these seem indestructible!

Cab- I’ve wanted to grow skirret for ages, this years seedlings unfortunately never made it into larger plants. Do you wanna swap a tuber or two for some seeds or whatever else I can offer??? Or point me I the direction of a tuber stockist! Please, please, please…

Mine went in as seeds a week or two back. Dunno whether I've got any seeds left, but if I do they're yours. Failing that, I'll save you some tubers.

Cab - have you just sown skirret direct ? I thought it was too late, and never got round to it earlier in the year. Are they protected with glass, cloches or fleece ?

Seed packet said September, but September was really warm. So I put them in at the start of November, in a seed tray, in the cold frame. I figure that ought to be okay. Worst that can happen is that it doesn't work

Still eating: Carrots Bright lights beet Rocket Raspberries Calabrese Most herbs (Basil is indoors) Look ready but still to try: Kale (for the whole village I think) Brussels Red Cabbage Parsnips Christmas potatoes (in a tub) To be ready sometime next year: Broccoli Onions Garlic Wheat And then there's the caulis that have nice green leaves but have not so far developed a "flower"
