Not counting the perennials (like fruit bushes, sorrel, asparagus, etc.), of course, we've still got:
Winter lettuces
Bright lights chard
Leaf beet
Yellow, stripy and red beetroot
Celery
Parsley
Rocket
Winter and Spring cabbages
Calabrese (struggling on)
Spring red and white sprouting broccoli
Carrots (still got some baby ones, and the main crop of course)
Salsify
A few pathetic looking parsnips
Jerusalem artichokes
Leeks (winter, Spring, and should be some till early summer)
Gone in recently are banana shallot seeds (home saved from shop bought bulb), alexanders, skirret, broad beans, garlic and saffron. |
