Well good luck with the work, I think there are plenty of people to do the leg work. Will you be available for consulting?

Good luck with it. At least you've got a thriving website to show to people.

Good luck! My ex-OH (Ah, it feels so good to be able to put the Ex bit! ) just about survived financially for ages on historical support work and the occasional one off job.

Hope you find a peach to keep you happy and comfortable.

Jem: can't you find a sugar-parent? We don't want to lose you! And, no, I'm broke so can't fulfill that brief

No chance In fact I am just going to make a 20 mile round journey to pick up a m8, because one of my taps is sligthtely loose, and despite assorted tools I lack the dexterity to reach to tighten it

But I need it done now, because a sink unit I want to put in, will make the space even more confined.

Is this the point to abandon Swindon and set off in to the sunshine on to a smallholding in deepest... ( fill in county of choice) You could do it, you know you could

Seriously Good luck and the work on setting this up should look good on the old CV.

Don't you mean an odd, jobbing plumber?

I don't think Jema would suit the bowler hat and dinner jacket though.

When my eldest daughter was 3 she used to come into the kitchen when I was cooking, with a couple of plastic spanners, and say, "I'm just going to mend the taps". It was very cute, but I wish she'd wanted to stay and learn to cook like Mummy too. (Perhaps she preferred the idea of cooking like someone else! LOL)
