I have a few ornimental tree roots that i dug up out of one of my feilds the trees all hard woods were felled as part of the war effot so have been siting in the ground weathering for 60 odd years they would make ideal garden features just to look at or maybe grow fungi on them there are a range of sizes from bits a foot long to hole stumps 3/4 feet across

if any one on here knows of a beter place to advertize these let me know thanks john

I've seen driftwood logs for sale in places like Wisley's garden centre for over £200.

I remember reading something about people who collect them from the west coast of Ireland. I'm not sure if you can dig up details about them using google.

Do you have any large garden centres in your area? It may be worth taking a look and taking a couple of photos with you?
