Issue 43 of Permaculture magazine is out now, and a good one. See this page for details of content
https://www.permaculture.co.uk/mag/current_issue.html
The solutions page in this issue has a couple of tongue in cheek suggestions, which are quite funny, and perhaps not sooo crazy as not to want to try them. No. one suggests to dry slugskins to turn into waterproof garments. Well, I'd try with a purse first, if I could get myself to kill any.
No. two is definetly worth a try - especially for the folically challanged - is grow wigs. You start with a bathingcap type foundation, 'quilt' a net to it, fill the space inbetween with soil, and then grow plants on your wig. There is a good picture of Tony Wrench (of roundhouse fame) sporting his raspberry wig by the look of it.

Most magazines eventually repeat themselves, and with each new issue of PC Mag, I wonder has that point be reached yet. I can happily say, that after 13 years of subscribing, I am as willing as ever to renew the subs for the two year choice. Every one has something new, diverse and interesting in it, often some unusual practical idea, and is always inspireing and recharges my batteries. When PC arrives in the letterbox, I drop everything, put the cettle on....One of the few magazines where I even read most of the ads.

Bugs 'n I have just taken out a subsription to Permaculture and we are on our third copy. It turned up with our copy of Kitchen Garden this week so plenty to read in the bath this weekend.
