I am thinking about buying some removeable magnetic car signs to advertise our business whilst the tourists are here 60cmx20cm to fit on each door.

Has anyone used these and are they any good? Any ideas what they might cost?

Thanks

We have then for the Pathfinder. We use them when we are moving caravans around to different sites. They are fine, as long as the area of the car you are fixing them on is very clean and dust free. We just wash the area off first, then polish with a shammy leather before putting them on.

That's cheap. I used to sell them for £40 a pair when I had my signwriting business.

A couple of tips if you do get some:

Always store them flat when not in use.
Don't try washing the car with them on, take them off first.
Make sure the body panels are dry before putting 'em back.
(if you trap water behind them for any length of time the paintwork will bubble)
Don't keep them on for too long at a time.

Best place to store 'em. Same rules apply to freezers though, you wouldn't want the paint bubbling

Oh, and apparently they are safe up to motorway speeds (but only on chest freezers)

You can also get sheet "plastic" ones which are easily removable - just held on by suction between layer and bodywork.
