Does anyone have this problem? When I write a new private message and press the send button, it sometimes goes into my outbox and is not sent, then I can't send it from the outbox, I check occasionally, stil there, then the next day or whenever its in the sent box. Whats happening? Help.

It's OK Judy, it's nothing too major - it sits in the outbox until the person picks it up, then it moves to the sentbox. Must add this to the "how to post" thread as quite rightly, it confuses everyone to begin with, because it doesn't work the same way as email

The outbox is simply the holding place for messages that have been sent but not read yet - once the message has been read it is moved into the sent box - easy way of checking whether your PM has been read HTH Joanne

Thanks, that explains why sometimes it vanishes allmost instantly, and other times sits there for a day. I was searching and searching for another send button in the outbox
