Yes, rocket is a great one to start off the year. When you see a silly bag of organic rocket selling for £1.99 in the supermarket, and your garden is full of the stuff, it brings on a really warm, smug feeling!!!

We've worked out that what we used to spend on just salad stuff in a year was more than twelve times what we have spent on the items to grow our own - and teh other plus points are now we wont be dependant on the supermarket for it, and we know exactly how it was grown eg no pesticides etc

Can't she go shopping, without you sighing and checking your watch and saying "yes very nice dear", and you stay at home with the potatoes and the girls (if they're anything like I was...in fact, still am...they'll leap at any chance to get muddy and avoid shops)? Everyone's happy...

Good plan Bugs ! Unless its shoes...... we all know that in order to return to the first pair looked at it is ESSENTIAL that the male is within sighing distance (approx 3 yards) (thats done it now!)

I'm thinking of hiring out my OH as a male escort for shopping. He loves to browse, will happily go back to the same shop several times AND will offer meaningful opinions on what you try on. You would have to bring your own credit cards, though. Do you think there is a market for that sort of service?

What, really meaningful opinions - instead of 'you look lovely in that dear?' he'll say 'black's not really your colour, and that doesn't do a thing for your bum'? How come he's still alive?
