We inherited a plot of raspberries with the garden here, and its currently the only productive part apart from the herbs and a few wild strawberries. In every way they are normal raspberries except that they are a very very pale peach colour- we think of them as 'white' raspberries. Is this normal- I've never come across rasps this colour before. We're on acid soil and they are very happy, and I want to try to tame the patch this year if I can so that I can use it properly in future, at the moment its just a raspberry thicket about 8ft round.
Any suggestions would be great

They sound as if they are the same as th ones I have - a pale, peachy yellow colour. I can't remember the exact name, but it has Golden in there somewhere. They were originally a sport of Autumn Bliss, so are or should be Autumn fruiting. If you don;t cut them down in winter, but just trimt he tops, they will fruit in the summer, then again in the autumn, so you get a doublce crop. For this, make sure they are well fed and watered. I just learned this technique a couple of monthsa ago, and am trying it this year. I am looking forward to seeing if yellow raspberry jam is as appealing as the red one!

You're so lucky, Dad has grown these for years but every time he tries to give me one it has never taken in my garden.

They taste so much sweeter than normal rasberries and I have wonderful memories of running out in the garden every morning and picking any ripe ones off the bushes.

I even tried buying some a few years ago but they never took either.

I think they're called All Gold
