Just need to get a bit of opinion on the Events Calendar, I think it's a very useful thing but it's time consuming to make the entries and unfortunately I seem to be the only person that ever adds events.

If it's going to be there then I think it should be well maintained so what does everybody else think?

The only thing I advised about for the events calendar was the Allotment Week - must admit I get the Yorkshire Post to see what is happening in this area and haven't got round to posting anything else

At the end of the day, Tahir, if you are the only one posting it will appear a thankless job if there is no feedback.

If you decide to keep it going I will commit to seeing what is going on in this area and keep you posted.

Just a tuppennyworth - having once tried, it's a nightmare of a job unless you've got organisers coming to you desperate for their dates to be listed?

All best - Gavin

Tahir, m'dear: how do I post stuff on the events board? I have some things for it. How local do you want stuff? I was thinking of, for example, the national smallholders weekend as well as things like our local agricultural shows. Let me know. Perhaps if you posted some guidelines...
