Cycling home (after a distressing sewage leak at work - don't ask) I thought I'd take a route that would perhaps add two miles, but which would give me a much needed chance of some fresh air.

Much to my delight, I found LOADS of these:

A particularly delectable mushroom, and common as muck on the fenland in Cambridge.

I wonder if they'll sit happily on the scanner...

Look out for them from around now till, say, winter! They'll keep coming if it stays moist.

Before this goes any further, can I just point out that the plumming crisis had NOTHING to do with my innards in any way? Or is it too late for that disclaimer now?
