Anyone got any idea of that might be up with my potato plant ? The rest of them look fine just this one. My dad thought maybe frost ?

If leaves full of holes with brown spots - looks nearly like that! - could be caspid bug.

Brown patches on leaves poss blight.

Pale green or yellow leaves could be cyst eel worm.

Yours looks like a combination of all 3!

If the rest look ok I'd dig it up and get it away from them as quickly as possible to be on the safe side.

Frost damage! Potatoes are prone to that sort of damage after it gets down to 2-3°C which we've had down here for several days.

The plants should recover and grow ok if we don't get much more frost.

Does it stop them growing? - my spuds have yet to appear, except one. They went in quite late, but I was expecting them to grow faster cos it was warmer!

No, it won't stop the plant growing - it should recover and carry on growing; it'll just be a bit slower.

Yeah, looks like frost damage. A bit of cold and sometimes wind with it seems to do that. I'd never had it on spuds till this year, and lots of mine now have it.
