hi wondered if anyone can give me some more information on oyster shell for chickens.
Do they need it every day and how much should i be giving them also should it be mixed in with their normal feed or given spearately

We just provide it seperately, ad lib so they can get it as & when they need it.

I have an oyster shell and grit mixture and just leave it in a little bucket by their pop hole. They take it when they need it.

Instead of oyster shell you can bake eggshells in the oven, break them up so that they don't look like eggshell and offer it in the same adlib way.
