Well i did my hens and ducks etc Proud today i pulled down thier onld House..Before it fell down!!!!!..

And put em another brand new one.

I also cleared all the old wood to one side ,trouble is its Tip runs for Sunday..Always down side..

Also the misses cleared all the front divide between our house and next doors so a few Tip Runs..

Feels good the to see the fruits of your work at the end of the day and being able to see what all the hard work and blisters were for!

Putting a Sumartra young un out tommorow with the small Game Hens so no bullying..or little or none i hope.

We have decided to keep our house as we were selling and it fell through for the second time in eight months..thats all godd as i didn,t want to move THE MISSES MADE ME DO IT!!!.we have the next best thing to a samll holding i suppose as i cannot afford one!!

We have 140 foot of garden with apple trees at the top and my Chickens and Ducks and Ferrits and Falcons and Koi and thast it ooh...Two Dogs.

What a great day with the top weather as well..I may not be rich but i am way Happy!!

Good for you!

We were going to move last year, but had no success selling so have decided to stay put for the foreseeable future. Our house is fine for us, we wanted a bigger garden as ours is very small, but I am now glad we didn't move as the garden looks the best it has in the 7 years we have lived here. It's been hard work at times but in our small garden we now have the 4 chickens in their permanent run (have a supervised roam in the garden), a lovely pond, some very pretty plants and flowers, as well as rhubarb, tomatoes, raspberries and various herbs. Friends and neighbours say it's like a mini 'It's a Good Life' here now!!!

i agree with you timberdog

you have to be calm to deal successfully with your animals because they pick it all up

and after a rotten day at the office or where ever, the change to your own patch with your own animals and plants is as good as a holiday (but cheaper and you don't have just a handful of photgraphs and a sunburn)

Our next door neighbours call us Tom and Barbara!

I have to say Timberdog goodness knows where you get the energy from at the moment, wow, isn't it hot? We had a chilling day yesterday, too hot to do anything - I was going to do some digging at the allotment, housework, etc., etc., ended up sitting in the garden, having a BBQ and a couple of drinks

Best bit, went to buy a chiminea, which needed small fires in it to cure it - we must have been the only people yesterday sitting beside a patio heater looking like this

We have a day off work tomorrow - we're off to Great Yorkshire Show!
