I want to ask a stupid question.....

I have looked at the threads for info but I am still not sure how much food to bring/how many meals to cater for. Its our first downsizer weekend and there is mention of joint meals thanks to various groups (foragers/smokers/sausagemakers etc) but I am not sure if those are sampling nibbles or actual meals.

We are coming down Friday evening and had planned to try the recommended restaurent in Lynton and buy sausages/eggs from Alison for breakfast Saturday and Monday. I think I need food for Sunday evening as well. Do I need to cater for the other evening meals/lunches? I don't want to be presumptious

Errm, there's enough catering going on for an army. You're responsible for yourself Friday evening and Saturday breakfast and I wouldn't eat too much then if I were you.

I think you have it down right there. Downsizer catering is from Saturday arrivals to Sunday departures.

There does seem to be a bit of a "fish 'n' chips" thing happening Friday evening as well.

What you can bet is that there will be no food shortage

Indeed. I'm pretty sure that's part of what the event fee pays for. Someone will yell if I'm wrong.

Um. Fee, you're in charge of fish n chips for 95 people. You volunteered the weekend you got very drunk, remember? You *have* ordered the fish, no?

*gulp*

I was going to ask which weekend that might be, but that's like asking which bean from a whole tin it was that made you fart

We are providing Saturday lunch and dinner, Sunday breakfast and lunch. And assorted snacking in between.

Demos mainly indoors.

Fish and chips from Squires, our best really good f+c shop. Definately worth it.

I am not doing breakfasts over the weekend, but can sell sausages etc if you are interested.
