Does anyone buy their feed online and have it delivered?
Our local farmers merchants are so bad it's doing our heads in. I think the problem is that we're not farmers, we're smallholders and we buy the GM free smallholder range. They just don't understand why we do it so don't make an effort to get our orders in I found a site a couple of years ago that sold GM free and organic feed by the pallet and with delivery charges it was still cheaper than getting it by the bag at the farmers merchant. Of course I can't find the site anymore

Anyone got any ideas?

This may sound idealistic and rather crazy, but perhaps you should tell your current supplier how you feel at being so poorly treated, and warn them that they are about to lose your business if they cannot meet your (relatively humble) demands.

I'm not talking about decalring all-out war on them, but a few well chosen words might strike a chord with someone in their organisation. This country is teetering on the brink of a recession and for companies to lose ANY business nowadays, through simple lack of consideration, is crazy!

Just my humble opinion?

That's been done to death Lozzie. They apologise and say it won't happen again but it's happened with every order we've placed or the last 2 years.
They're not bothered about losing the business of a couple of pissant smallholders, they're a farmers merchant.

I think you probably mean these people:

We looked into it as well. We don't have enough animals (or storage facilities) to make it viable for us on our own, but we did consider going halves or thirds on a pallet with some other people.

Oh you utter star Judith!

I've been searching for that site for ages. Thank you.
