Well i went out today as i had a day off and picked 8kg of winter chanterelles, ceps, wood blewits, bovine boletus, brown birch boletus, Bay boletus and amythest deceivers. Cool or what. And not any where near the new forest..

Roe deer tenderloin and winter chanterelle stir fry for tea......yummy scrummy

Ahhhh sorry about that. I can thank my grand ma as she taught me from an early age what is what........plus i am a bit of a geek............
I love wild food and am also a cook.

These Mushrooms were all picked from the Bracknell forest. Pleanty for everyone............much under picked i can tell you. Winter chanterelles............fields of them

Not a million miles away from me then, I've never found winter chanterelles, don't suppose you have a grid reference do you???
