A first egg? Looks like it to me. Could be completely empty, or have no yolk. Beautiful, aren't they?

She's fully grown and has been laying for ages now. Gawd knows what's prompted this tiny one.

after a fox attack once one of our older girls laid a small perfectly round egg about the size of a marble. It was just the white she only did it once and then went back to her normal eggs, I guessed it a was the shock.

sometimes stress can cause a small egg or a shell-less egg , most stress is caused by predation, could be time to do a bit of pest control
