Hi Helen,welcome to Downsizer.
Barrie and I took care of the pigs for Jo down here in Zummerset.Great characters.
Had two phone calls from other allotment folk,saying someones nicked the pigs!so they are missed already!

Chez - I am overrun with Rhea eggs!!!! Next time I visit the folks in Glastonbury I'll happily drop you off some.....

Hi GG, any tips on piggies favourite things will be appreciated. At the moment they seem delirious with just pig nuts & the lush spring grass. It all seems far too easy at the moment... famous last words

im glad tiny is sorted ,i couldnt eat a bovine like him ,several of his half brothers were a pleasure to put in a freezer but he was always polite and relaxed ,nice lad .

ps he likes being fettled with a wire dog brush and is fond of nettles

well hello everyone - better late than never.

it was nice to meet you all and transport your lovely pigs to their new home.

Helen - great to meet you - fantastic place and i'm sure the pigs will be very happy.

So will you Helen, kunes ARE that relaxed and easy - i have nearly 20 of the little beggars and they make my life complete
