There has been interst in another forest picnic in August this year...probably the third week . If you fancy a picnic with the ponies, please add your name to this thread...Pricey you'll come won't you???!!! Ill sort out a date and a venue...

August will be busy so I'm not sure about the camping...need to have a check around....if people wanted to camp I guess they could...I was thinking of having the picnic either up the road at Boundway, which is close to where we live and also fairly un discovered by tourists,(it's a lovely sweep of moorland valley with a couple of pretty groves of oak trees, and a stream and woods further on if people wanted to explore) or maybe in the enclosure (woods) nearby although that's much more touristy...

9th or the 23rd are good for me otherwise its a no no. BBQ pies and drink, sounds good to me

um....the ninth may not be possible for us which is why i said the third week 23rd is a sunday? gotta retire again for a bit cos of flippin migraine but I'll have a think and a plan
