Odd query perhaps!

There is a thread on another forum, someone asking about good welfare meat that also has a minimally-stressful end.

I'm happy to name drop
I've said that a good local farmer will be in a better position to talk about their chosen slaughterhouse; but I'm aware that a lot of folks don't have many options.

So, what do you guys look for?
Any certificates or trade bodies this person can enquire about?

Thanks Sean, yes the guide does help in showing places that treat animals with care (and a couple that don't!).
