android deletes fully, not a soft delete. you can install an app that puts deleted items into a waste basket first. But if that's not installed , and it's not backed up to the cloud, then their gone. ...

Every year, my rhubarb puts out lots of flowering spikes which I fastidiously remove. This year so far, I've removed 7 spikes. I see other peoples crown with no spikes.

without citric acid it'd taste very unbalanced with all that sugar. The sugar/ acid balance (when diluted) replicates that found in fruit juice.

Don't know! I would have thought so, but I've read that with autumn (primocane) varieties, they can fruit in the first year.

Thanks gz, just phoned them, very helpful. Put an order in for 10 'Joan J', a new autumn bliss hybrid. Pick 'em up tomorrow or Monday.
Will report back in autumn about how they've performed.
