Been running a multi fuel burner on off cuts from a local roof truss manufacturer for almost 8 years, the savings run in to the thousands by now.

All I do is fry some chopped onions in a generous glug of oil, get the oil reasonably hot then add the cooked beans and pound them a bit with a potato masher. I like them fair ...

you could try battered goujons, rather than large fish fillets. It would work better shallow fried or at least 'knee deep' in a frying pan.

Meh, I think as a first timer I might go for a different breed then, unless they are incredibly cheap. The land is fenced and ready so at least I got that done.

Don't know about light & dark, but we have a klargester treatment system and discharge to a nearby watercourse with consent.

In a true test of fishing faith, I have 30 people coming for an olympic barbeque on Sunday, and the star ingredient is still in the sea. It had better be calm tomorrow morning.
