I've often thought about getting a dehydrator, but I think I would only use it for apples and tomatoes

do you not have any houseplants now?

I dont have many, most of my plants are outside or in the gh. But I did sow a mango stone a few weeks back and now have a mango plant.

I expect you know, or maybe someone has already said, but there are rules about the size of the hearth - it has to stick out so much further than the woodburner etc.
