I use a yoghurt maker, and when its set enough, leave it to rest for a day then strain it for about an hour. Result Greek Yogurt consistency and whey I use in smoothies or soups or baking.

I just made yogurt - not made it in years, but I have milk and miss having yogurt etc etc. and found a little bit of frozen live yogurt whilst freezer diving.

all I did was heat 2 pints semi milk ...

Might be useful if you go shopping and have to handle baskets, trolleys or door handles anyone else has touched. Take a few with you and wipe before touching.

yeh i often make flatbreads, my favourite recipe uses yogurt, but you can make nice without.

I've only used tinned laverbread so I am no expert on the real stuff, but based on that - Laverbread is much tastier, sharper and softer in texture. ...

I thought maybe if you activated it, the fed it along the same lines as sour dough, it might work? Though other wild yeasts might join in
