Garden plant names keep changing, even quite ordinary ones. My mother was furious when they changed Montbretia to Crocosmia.

Definitely variegated lemon balm. Lovely thing but if you only have one plant (like I did) it did get swamped, unusual for lemon balm (ordinary) which is positively invasive!

Still no swallows, chiffchaffs or redstarts - but pairs of kites, buzzards and ravens bombing round every morning. Next door (1/4 mile away,) have 2 swallows. I still live in hopes!
