It turns out that mine was not a rat but a mouse who has now moved on to a better place, courtesy of a rat trap and some peanut butter.

I hope you get the dirty rat DPack, by whichever means you can. We have one that has turned up in our shed, which is there because of the bird food. I've put poison down and it's disappearing. Fingers ...

There is a deadly nightshade just around the corner from us. It is a lovely plant and obviously very tricksie.
