Tho the Sun is out in SW Wales today. |

It looks like a slipway that is quite shallow, so probably needed for low tide to stay afloat? |

It might be because on a rough day the backwash from the piers meeting the incoming waves means that the safest place for a boat is a bit further out? Although the larger boat alongside the pier might not fare very well against the concrete. What sort of fetch is there to the right of the photo? |
