Just seen this posted. No idea if it'll take off, but it might be useful.

Hi Friends,

I hope you are keeping well and staying safe during this Shutdown.

I’m after your help for a project to help the UK find food during the Lockdown that has been pulled together by a group including my Uncle Chris Benham for free.

They are about to launch a website
https://lnkd.in/dQKrPpU

with two aims:

1. Direction/ Signage for the UK population to find local food sellers

2. Support UK growers with recruiting for Pick for Britain

I wondered whether you would share the website with your connections?

Whether or not you are retailers and you want to sign up; many of you will know retailers and growers who may want to sign up; and many may find the service of use to them and their families.

Many of you may already be involved with community groups who are distributing food to those who need it - please sign up your group up as a supplier. This is all about supporting one another here and now.

The faster they can populate the food suppliers and growers sections, the more use the site will be to the UK population.

Everyone who has contributed to the site has worked for free. The site has no commercial aims or goals. It is purely built for supporting the UK at this time.

Would you mind sharing the site across your connections?]

That was my first thought. And yet they've spectacularly failed to use it.

Sometimes you just can't get the staff.
