I have quite a quantity to make use of and there are only so many scones you can make! If anyone has any whey recipe suggestions (other than make scones) they would be much appreciated. Oh, and unfortunately I don't have any spare freezer space at the moment either...

Use instead of stock/water in any savory or sweet dish, particularly good in pasta sauces. Use half and half with milk for cheese sauce/parsley sauce etc. And the pigs love it!

Got chooks, but no pigs. Guess they'll like it too though?

Great stuff. I have a load of surplus milk to use up so there'll be more whey yet but in the meantime I'm going to start by having a go at making Gjetost/Mysost:

That's our two JRT's taken care of then!

Made the Gjetost, interesting stuff (never had it before). Almost exactly as described in the link, salty/sweetish and a little like soft fudge. Thanks for all the suggestions everyone, I think I now have plenty ways to use up leftover whey now!

and whilst on a course on Powdery Mildew and wood diseases for grape vines I heard about research in South Australia where they were using whey diluted about 1:10 with water for spraying agains PM and other mildews on grape vines ! They have yet to isolate the active ingredients ... but don't forget I expect defra would consider it 'industrial waste' ... so just for a home remedy !
