We are drawing up plans for our small business which includes a coffee shop and as we are not on mains sewerage thought composting loos would work a treat. Anyone else used these commercially and what type/how has it been? The business is to be a garden nursery so the compost would be useful anyway!

Not sure about the commercial application. There are commercial biotanks which do aerobic & anerobic treatment or you could go for the reed bed system a la river cottage if you have the space.

Is there anywhere in south area to go and look at? WE heard that there is a similar CAT place somewhere on the A3 but have had no joy finding it at all?

Might be these bods www.earthworks-trust.com?? Looking at the website they mention rainwater collection for flushing loos, but not compost toilets. You could ring them and ask if they know of any CAT-like places nearby.
